Exhibition: Four years of childrens’ community art

The Raphael Centre extends a warm invitation to festival-goers to visit their exhibition stand located outside their offices on 14 Dundas Street. Featuring works of art, prints and display information this showcase is aimed at raising awareness about the community projects that the Raphael Centre has initiated in Grahamstown and surrounds. Indeed, the children’s art programme is one of many such projects with which the Raphael Centre is involved.

The Raphael Centre was originally established in 1999 to provide support services to people dealing with HIV, but has since evolved and expanded its original mission by facilitating physical, mental and social health in the community at large.

So between your festival forays, drop by the stand to see for yourself what a wonderful and invaluable contribution the Raphael Centre is making in the community and show your support by purchasing one of the beautiful prints of the artworks on display. Visit them on Facebook for more into!
